jeff..your info on the gap is not correct...I don't know where you got this. no one has mention anything about schools... but since you brought it up our kids go to public schools. they are some of the strongest schools in the nation and they are not percecuted for their religious beliefs. The High School is a college prep rated school so their grades are adjusted up when colleges consider them. It's that hard... boy I can't wait to stop helping them with their homework. It's rough.<g> In fact they can take their bible to school . they can pray whenever they want to if they aren't disrupted, they can bring their christian views into the discussion. when evolution is talked about they can present their views and the teacher cannot legally embarrass them... but, when asked questions about what the evolution theory is..they are straight "A" students so they answer the questions correctly. In other words the USA is a free speech country and we love it. We love public schools too. they have been there their entire life. I do find it alttle ironic that you are criticizing something that you haven't studied.. I get on my christian brothers for doing this all the time. they blast evolution and don't know what it is. So, I guess the same is for you... study the gap indepth before you reject it, study it for yourself. That's what a scientist does.. they don't allow heresay .. You evidently have gotten your limited gap knowledge from aunt Sue. Not very factural soruce<g>. I'm not trying to force you into beleiving bible or the Gap. I'm not trying to limit your free speech, although if you want to suppress my children from brining up the gap theory in science class then you want to limit their free speech which is proctected under a wonderful constitution. I do think with opnions as strong as you have then you would study something before to reject it the way that you have. My only request is that you study it.. If there are holes in the logic then bring them up...but study it first or say I don't know and don't care.. that would that as an acceptable response . but, to act like an authority on the gap and not even know it..is not right. I want to repeat that last part... an acceptable answer is I don't know the gap and I don't care to know and I don't now the Bible and I don't care to know the bible.. This is an honest response that any christian should honor. peace my friend and again I'm not trying to force you so accept or do anything...just be honest about your knowledge of gap,,that's all.
