Yes, the warrants are expiring this weekend which means today was the final day for them to exercise the warrants if they haven't already. By doing that, they cannot help the price go up since they get treasury stock. All that can happen is that the price can go down when they decide to unload those shares which they will at some point. Don't forget that Pinetree isn't the only one with warrants. There are at least 500,000 others due to expire in July.

The reason for the lack of movement this morning when all the (light) buying was going on was that Sherwood Securities had a bunch to sell and locked up the ask until he was done. It wasn't a huge amount though - only about 30,000 shares.
