Based on LSI's inability to rally on strength in the NASDAQ and the SOX Index this week I suspect that the second quarter results for LSI will be very disappointing. I continue to marvel at the extraordinary insight the analysts have several weeks ahead of the masses in anticipating bad quarterly news. People using VLSI rumors as an excuse for LSI'S dismay performance (myself included) are several days behind the real world. Given the sell off in VLSI over the past few days I think rumors regarding LSI's acquiring VLSI are dead and gone yet LSI's stock price continues to lag. PS after waiting for several days I still have not heard anything from LSI's investor relations department. However, I am confident that they are busy with more important things than answering shareholders' questions.
