Mr GreenThumb Bill:

I can buy fresh sort of generic hot peppers here--they're long, green to red, rarely VERY hot, though. Then in late summer and fall there are little red ones, probably tabasco peppers. Only one variety of dried; the small red ones that they use in Chinese food.

So I bring dried peppers from the States when I visit. But I have an AWFUL PROBLEM with the habaneros. Tiny bugs get in and eat them. All to pieces; they leave only the ribs.

Why do they do this? Thank you.

Janice
