Intel has developed new and unique electrical/mechanical interfaces to to connect their x86 INDUSTRY STANDARD COMPATIBLE processors to a motherboard. The Motherboard itself is COMPETELY COMPATIBLE - accepting ALL PCI cards, USB plug ins, ISA CARDS, serial/parallel I/O devices, and AGP cards. Tens of thousands of industry standard peripherals plug into these motherboards. Hundreds of thousands of INDUSTRY STANDARD SOFTWARE PACKAGES run on these Intel-based boards. INTEL IS COMPATIBLE. WAKE UP! The fact that you can't plug a Clones-'R-Us CPU into the INTEL CPU socket is a don't care for everybody in the world - except the Clones'R-Whining crowd. Paul
