I think that for what you want, you could hardly do better than ESC. They stand behind their products and answer their e-mail. They aren't the cheapest (usually), but they're about as good a customizer as I've come across.

Given all the stuff you may want to end up putting in your main machine, I don't think you can go wrong with Sean's In-Winn, as well as the Elan Vital.
