Dear Gene,
You have made a good observation. Mr. Chew's new report projects $28 Million in just TAD's during our fiscal 1997. Don't forget that we also do exporting for 20 U.S. based manufacturers and Mr. Chew's report on the Export division projects us as doing just under $19 Million during our fiscal 1997. His estimate of total revenues for fiscal 1997 is just over $47 Million. And yes, in his first report, he did project TAD revenues of $55 Million, without the help of the Export division.
The lower forecast is due to our inability to quickly ramp up our sales force. Mr. Chew did advise us in his section, "Risks in the TAD Program" under "Developing New Customers" that "the main risk would be how quickly CAPITAL can develop new customers." We have been meeting with more success in our recruitment efforts, as of lately. The new account executives for the TAD Program are currently meeting our expectations and should help to confirm the estimates in Mr. Chew's November 21, 1996 Research Update. In any case, investors should be happy with the revised estimates. Management is still doing a very good job of bringing it all down to the bottom line. Everyone's in it for the long term!
Thank you again, Gene. You are actually the first person that mentioned the change in Mr. Chew's forecast.
