There is something funny about that article
you posted.

That fourth round funding from Microsoft funding came
in October of 1997 so that is old news. I just
checked the Wildfire web site to make sure.

Also the use of the Serengeti name is old and
I doubt Andrew Sybold would be using that name
anytime in May or June.

On top of that I think I remember reading this
article or at least the text of it some time ago
in a different magazine. Don't remember where
yet.

I smell a red herring here.

Anyway it did say that Serengeti is much better.

Markman addressed Wildfire at the meeting and said
they were addressing the enterprise market. Maybe
they will get some interest going there. General
Magic will be in that market next year according to
Markman.
