Just went long, a day too soon or too late.

Caught the top, but this is long term for me, so it is only one bump in the roller coaster. My view is perhaps overly simplistic, but it is that at no time in recent history has the Arab world and the major oil companies permitted tanking (no pun intended) of oil prices to last very long. If I'm right, my stock price will go up. If I'm wrong, my gasoline price will stay low. How can I lose?
