ICVI wasn't a shell; it was an operating company, managed by the guy who'd previously managed Luma Net (which in fact turned into RICI, and then ICVI). Was this "chop-stock" promoter allegedly involved with other companies run by John Christensen? Did MTEI management know about this? The Biz Week article, after all, came out in December 1997. I agree with you that it may not be important. But I like to know a good deal about the background of the people I do business with; seems to me an important quality in company managers as well. Christensen owns quite a lot of MTEI shares.
