But after a few $1,000 days, there came last Tuesday, a $2,000 one-day loss.

''It was a hugely bad day. I knew I should have walked away from the computer earlier, but I just kept thinking I can come back.'' There's the rub. I have been doing a lot of reading about day trading, that's another way to make a SMALL fortune out of a LARGE fortune. Most get blown out pretty quick.Wait for the slow years, they will come. However, some do make quite a bit of money. It is also true that the market makers are sweating, they see their "function of adding liquidity" fading away. It was BS in the first place. There is no reason with today's technology that people shouldn't be able to trade directly with each other.
