JWG, if you are logged in as a user, look at the title bar at the top of the window, after the blue "SI" you will see a word "inbox" and the number of private messages waiting for you.
Anyone with posting privileges on SI can receive private messages which are held on the SI server and not on your ISP server.
Check it out, you may have a few, not from me.
Actually Jack, I agree with much of the sentiments of what you say about VVUS, and you will probably make more money on this stock than I will.
But I disagree with personal attacks and that includes the ones directed AT you as well as the ones coming FROM you. I have posted on boards as a declared short, I have debated with the longs those boards and we have benefited from the give and take of perspectives. Some people have attacked me personally in that situation, but that is their problem, not mine. My non-response has always been enough satisfaction for me. (I know you have stated you are not short VVUS.)
Although I post anonymously, I have a simple rule, "If you wouldn't be proud to put your post on a sign and walk down main street with it, you probably shouldn't put it on the internet".
Think about it, everyone.
I think this C-R conference will signal the bottom for VVUS.
BTW the median estimates for 2nd quarter eps are (0.11) on first call, much lower than the mean, because one analyst is way out there.
