John,I think many investors are unsure of the JV. NTAH does not have the funds to explore/drill and produce Matagorda. The bottomline ,how much will they have to give away,considering they only have the lease to bargain with. They could end up with only a very small percentage of the take,as is commonly the case in this situation. The possibility of convertible debentures mentioned by the company may also be weighing on investors fears. It is however, great that management is trying to address the situation with the "draw down" concept-whether they can accomplish it remains to be seen. As for no one being able to short a .50 stock in the US,that is bunk,it is purely up to your broker and if you're a big hitter,it's no problem..(so I've been told,by someone who has that type of clout and can easily cover any losses that might be incurred).It doesn't have to be done outside the US. These obviously are just my opinions/concerns,but believe many might agree. DD
