jawd, With your MB Trading, what ELAPSED TIME is there from the point where you click [SEND] until your order shows up "in-the-box"?
.
I am using Wall Street Access' On-Line system, mainly because I've had an active [voice based] account there for 12 years. I've had an account at Castle [who I perceive as being better] for a couple years, but never use it. I'm still a Day-Trade novice, and I visualize Castle as being "the Big Leagues". Maybe someday... soon...
.
With my WSE account it seems to take about two minutes to get posted in the L2 box. Then execution/report can take another minute after I saw it come over my StockEdge On-Line "time of sales".
.
Now this is OKAY, compared to what I use to do - Call the order in over the telephone. But I've had intra-day trends change and by the time those two minutes pass by [and the fact that it takes another FRANTIC minute to "set it up" to send] my Market Order is executed for a $1.00 or more away from where the Market was when I first pressed [SEND]. And so far that's USUALLY been $1+ against me (g).
.
