SB Live may be delayed because of Win98 delay. After all, environtmental audio extensions for DirectSound and DirectSound3D were written for Win98 as well. Creaf also has to update drivers for all other products for Win98. Now that Win98 is out, Creaf will be launching SB Live very soon. Vendors selling the BlasterPC in Singapore are already offering upgrades to SB Live but the PC will have to be delivered after July 20. So it will be sometime in the next 3 weeks!!

BTW the BlasterPC is quite well priced at S$2188 (or US$1,302 using 1.68) for PII 266 on an Intel 440LX chipset, 4.3G drive Fujitsu, 1.44M floppy drive, Win98, with SB PCI64, Encore, Exxtreme, CSW "Soundworks", HansVision (Chinese software for Internet and translation - actually reads out Chinese!), 32MB SDRAM, microphone, 6 months internet free, DVD rental vouchers (dunno how many), BlasterPC T-shirt, infra-red control tower and 15" monitor!
