-The July, 1998 issue of Vogue features a cover article "What a Pill! The Ups and Downs of Viagra". The article also discusses the use of Viagra in women "Does Viagra have a feminine side?" never underestimate the buying power generated by this type of exposure...(link to july contents) karli.com with a tama janowitz byline, the *VIAGRA* article will influence a well heeled, trend grabbing audience, who will no doubt be tempted to pick up a phone before (they think) anyone else does...to buy. ahhahha....i'm (or the most part) serious, although i wouldn't bank on the spike. the bottom line: with the (yes anthony, i agree) overdone publicity about a (well within expectations) mortality rate, hardly worthy of focus, these image pieces provide balance with a more seductive spin. and there is always the free advertising (huge expenses??) angle...vogue is a great spot for a cover story.(august is historically their largest issue, but july is no slouch.)
