JDS, >Where's the buzz about CLIK!?< I don't count on
the ability of "buzz" to influence stock price, so I'm not
disturbed by its absence. It is disappointing that so far no
camera maker has announced a camera with Click! built in.

To transfer pictures takes just too many steps: from flash to
Click!, from Click! to your computer (after you have installed
the docking station). Compare that to the only camera with a
built-in disk drive: the Sony Mavica uses standard 1.44 MB
floppies. Take the disk out of the Mavica and insert it in
your computer's drive. Of course the Mavica is overpriced
at $600+ and picture quality has been reported to be poor.

Ideally, I'd like to see a ZIP/Click! combo in every computer
and cameras with Click! built in.

Gottfried
PS: More on "buzz": there has been much negative buzz about
Windows 98 (non-event, just a bug fix etc), but the product
sold 250,000 copies on the first day and is expected to hit
the 500,000 mark over the weekend. That's all that counts.
