Bob:

They have no agenda to keep it hidden. Why would they want to?..

That is a fair question, unfortunately unanswerable. Every innocent explanation can be countered with 10 sinister ones. That is why the SEC has a 5% reporting rule.

Pertinant to the question is the following post by macker over at RagingBull on early Friday morning.

ragingbull.com

the book value ive been told by jack is actually closer to 4.50 now, he said that this is based on old conservative usgs surveys, including the new purchase, but they are doing new ones as the usgs is too conservative and he believes that they missed big parcels in their initial surveys years ago. i help you folks when i have news so i need to share something now as well:

there are a few old investors that were in the stock way before we were all here, at icvi intial days that are fed up and are going to dump a lot of stock in the next few days, between 2-3 million shares im told.
im not trying to do anything but let you have the info, whether it is good or bad news, i will report it just the same, a lot of you will verify that in i have been telling people in pm's on si that i think the stock will bleed into the 25-28 region due to this dumping. it doesnt change the companies future one bit, and the stock is still a winner in my mind. i feel that with mm games that taking half of your profits or initial investment off the table is healthy if that is what you need to do to keep sane, i realize that not all people are cut out to be long, so i will try to help the stock by having these people do what they mentally can handle, but also let them know that the stock is fine should they choose to get back in on the dips. i have had many on this and the si thread admit to me that they have sold big chunks of their holdings and that is fine, i just want to make sure that they get back in on the dip and dont miss all the fun over the next 30-60 days with the next run. im sure one of the idiots will post this on si, but dont respond to them. the reality is that some can mentally handle being long and some cant, others are in different financial situations, you have to make your first priority you and your family, that is realism. hope noone is offended by this, but it is the other part of being honest and helping through good and bad times.

macker

If macker's info is correct about former ICVI shareholders selling out in large blocks, it highlights why there are Form 144 filings and reporting rules. There is a spirited discussion going on over at RagingBull.
