I'm still learning myself from huge losses in the beginning due to having faith in this and that. I'm still learning and many here a far ahead of me.

I find most of what I read on SI amazing. As anyone knows who's read my profile, I'm a psychologist and can tell you that what goes on on these threads daily makes what I deal with at the office seem very simple. You see people here at their best and very worst all the time. One of my special interests has always been career counseling, and one element of this is studying what characteristics are required for success in different occupations/professions as well as specific jobs. In addition to the right knowledge base, I think successful investing and/or trading are the most personally demanding vocations I've ever run across. The need for self-knowledge and control coupled with the need to make good decisions while managing high levels of stress are a killer set of requirements. One must overcome/fight bad habits, guard against certain elements of addiction, and work with incredible tenacity to master this business. Personally, I like the challenge. It's also nice to make friends along the way.
