RJK, it may seem like a strange marriage at first but I can assure you that there are a number of issues that helped get the two businesses together. 1. The announced reason: TMM to develop video and online training programs for training installers. Makes sense, TMM has expertise in these types of products. 2. A lightly mentioned but possible additional reason: Mike Fernandez, President of TMM, is a lawyer (or at least was) and could play a role in relations with the EPA and other regulatory agencies, lobbyists, etc.. It was mentioned that he has some background and contacts in this area. 3. ECC, by joining TMM, has the ability to go public without spending hundreds of thousands of dollars in fees. If the product is successful in the market, ECC stockholders will have a liquid investment that they can recoup their investment on, which they don't currently have. 4. TMM has lots and lots of assets, which need some mining to realize. Read my post from several months ago on my SWAG for TMM's value. Items like the 20+ million dollar tax loss carryforward will come in handy once the new venture starts selling more products. Message 4025799 5.
