WELL --- Knock on wood,, this is the 3rd DELL and only 2 minor problems. The modem went under warranty period on a Sat night. Dell contacted by phone and a service contractor was here Monday @ 10:30am. He had a 1 hour drive. That was great... also during the 1st 6 months the FocalPoint software for the 2 line answeing machine/fax ,,, a great SOUNDING communications program did not function. DELL referred me to the vendor and many emails were sent and never answered. I called the company (toll call) and was told after 30 days there was a service charge for assistance. DELL stated from day 1 they could not help due to agreements. The program retailed for about $100 but was installed on the machine. It has been replaced with shareware that actually woeks,,,,,, Possibly all box makers must shy away from assisting in some areas???? |
