And, if it is a typo (which I truly am hoping is the case) and someone has pointed it out to them, why haven't they fixed it.
Well, cut them some slack. It is Saturday. When I asked them to change my quote on the Web Site, they had it done almost immediately.
Another thing, you suggest that maybe Cyber charges different commissions to different clients. This may be the case, because before I found the fee schedule on their web, it has been impossible to get a written copy of the fees, which suggests it is a fluid schedule.
No, no, no. By flexible I meant that they sometimes change things after people start complaining. So, if this new fee structure is a problem for the best traders, they will probably do something about it, and for everyone, not just certain people. I'm not phrasing it very well, but they are quick to adapt when they feel they can do something better...
On a side note, I did just crack open my 1.6 beta. I sent the forms Thursday via fax, and it was here today. The new software is even sexier -- filled with all kinds of cool stuff like Market View, Proximity Alerts on Hi/Lo's, New Stock Boxes, an Island Book (AWESOME!!!). Sheesh! So very cool. But all this cool stuff, and I still wonder whether I would be a better trader because of it. I'd probably still make the same stupid mistakes...
The one thing that is obvious is that if you trade with Datek or MB or something, there is no way you would have all these cool features that make trading easier... |
