Hi Norm,

>> She is probably just another Micro-skank who's life was a meaningless exercise in futile human mediocricy until Bill gave her a purpose in life.<<

Is your dad Troll? <g> Those words just seem a wee bit harsh. Life is not so black and white... I believe a lot of people at MSFT struggle with what they're doing.

MSFT isn't the only culprit either... most large corporations are underhanded in some way... that doesn't justify MSFT but it leaves one with the choice of having their own business, working for a small business, or working for one of those nasty, large corporations; in the dark satanic mills of the law offices, insurance conglomerates, and electronic sweatshops of every stripe.

Other options for livelihood are the government, and the ivory tower, and the clergy... you can also start your own sect and get wiped out...

Is anyone here working on the year2000 problem? Is there a thread for that here?

FWIW
Andy (off to look for "y2k" threads)
