Inprise Corporation (Nasdaq: INPR) today announced that Roger Sippl has resigned I'm puzzled by the low-key response on this thread to Mr Sippl's departure - everyone must be having too much fun with handwriting and eye surgery... I cannot see one positive aspect of his departure. Everyone I have spoken to who knew him said only good things about him - he was highly talented, a hard worker (always first in in the morning and last out at night), he was a visionary, a motivator and an inspiration to his people. Whatever the background of his departure (short of illness of course), it does not reflect well on the company's prospects. Whether Del believed Sippl was dispensible and let him go, or Sippl was unhappy with Del's strategy and left, it is a warning sign that all may be not entirely well. david
