Remember, liquidity, liquidity liquidity.

Thread,
Hey I remember. :)

Remember also, I am the one who had the depressing job of reading and posting all those gloomy warnings day after day. But I kept remembering all the discussions we had concerning liquidity. So when I get a little concerned, I listen for the cash into mutual fund numbers.

Didn't last week break some kind of record? I can't remember exactly what it was, but it seemed like the previous five weeks or so, only had(funny about "only") about $3 billion/week flowing in. That was considered low. But last week it spiked up to $14 billion. Something like that. Once again, we kick around so many numbers I lose track. But I didnt' lose track that is was some kind of 2 or 3 month record. Considering we are breaking records all the time, this says something about the cash available.

There may be a couple more weeks, at most, of warnings, but after that there should be some announcement surprises coming on the upside. So, personally(FWIW), I'm still somewhat cautious, but spending a great deal of time getting ready to pounce.

Liquidity, liquidity, liquidity! All IMVHO of course.
Thanks,
MikeM(From Florida)

PS Don't forget to look out for the "Tankan" tonight. I wonder if Ron(of CNBC) will be right.
