Hi everyone!
I'm happy to be back. I ran into a problem which dwarfs any of my concerns about MTEI. LOST MY ENTIRE HARD DRIVE. I have spent the last week trying to reconstitute my data base files, word pro files, etc., etc. Of course, most of everything is simply...long gone.
There certainly has been a lot of contemptible interaction taking place on this thread over the last week; I notice today, however, that a civil tone appears to have prevailed.
I do not share most of the opinions being tossed about regarding the motivations of so-called bashers. I certainly don't believe that the actual value of a Company can be created by the minority opinions of the general public. The businesses and individuals that will sign contracts and do business with MTEI will not consult the SI thread first! Companies derive their value by attracting paying customers. When I go to the race track...I can yell for and against the horses...but I am not really stupid enough to believe that the horses listen to me!
Do I think Janice Shell, et al, can take down Dell or Microsoft or any other Company? No. Do I think they are big enough to determine the fortunes of a Company...even if they wanted to? No.
I don't know the purpose of anyone on this thread. Some are raving pollyannas; some are doom and gloom; some are suspicious; some simply enjoy the interaction; and some are probably writing essays for a school report. Who the hell knows.
But one thing I belive: Civil opinions, proffered and responded to in a mature manner, are advantageous to the DD of the serious thinking investor...and I would encourage a friendly dialogue amongst all.
Finally, let us hear from a few "lurkers". You do not need to have "talked to Jack", to have an opinion!
Finally, I will state my opinion that the value of MTEI will rightly be perceived by the investment community at 100 to 1000 per cent above today's valuation within the next 30 days. That statement does not qualify me as a Nostradamus...the old fraud.
I have neither the desire nor intention of justifying this opinion for the benefit of anyone. If asked to do so, I will probably go play a game of tennis. My opinion has nothing to do with the ultimate usefulness of this Company to its owners (us) or to its clients.
