Yeah, well you wanna know who's head I want on a platter?? It is that very first mom or dad who bought their kid $100 tennis shoes! At least Beanie Babies are only 5.99, and the kid can buy them with her own allowance! But a hundred bucks for tennis shoes? And once that first kid in school gets them, it's all over.... LOL...I remember when I was in school, you had to have Gloria Vanderbilt jeans, which cost $30, if you were going to be "cool". There was no way my mom was going to spend $30 for jeans, so I was S.O.L. in the "cool" department. But you know what? I turned out okay! So, to all of those parents who are thinking about buying thier kid $100 tennis shoes, I say this...Don't Do It!!! The kid will turn out fine anyway, and you will only make it harder on the other parents if you buy your kid those shoes... :-) Binder
