Richard, I installed the McAfee anti-virus program a couple days ago and it seems to be working fine. Today I installed a product called Safe & Sound to backup my data as I had no backup. Shortly after that I attempted to down the weekend data from QP and got a message, "can not open master file." So I tried to open the charts and got two messages, "can't open the stock master files" and "abnormal program termination." Opened MetaStock and got a couple "endof file" messages. Sounds bad to me. Sounds like a uninstall/reinstall moment. I hate to lose the scans I have been working on. Perhaps the backup will work although it seems to have caused the problem. Any ideas? Thanks, Bob
