Thanks for your input. I've been cautious about IRQ sharing as I've found it unreliable on com ports. But, the PCI bus is a tad more robust.

I've looked at the dream machine thread, but there are so many posts. And, I haven't figured out how to do a search specific to a thread on SI. I find it very hard to search for things on SI.
