Exactly! I tell my daughter that she likes nice things, and that there is nothing wrong with that, but she must learn to get these things for herself, because it is not up to her parents to buy them for her, and she should not grow up to depend on a husband to do it either. She should work hard in school while she is young, and be able to afford nice things for herself as an adult. Besides, kids have a greater appreciation for and take better care of that which they earn themselves. :-) Binder
