I really hate it when I look for info and can't find it. Just spent the last 1/2 hour looking for charts comparing i740 vs. VooDoo 2. Can anybody out there help me? Chip? Anyone?

I'm proposing that the i740 is about %60 as good as the VooDoo 2. This is my impression based upon the articles that I have seen over the last couple of months. I'm willing to be educated about this, if I'm wrong I want to know. My current impression is also that the i740 image quality is not up to the standard of the VooDoo 2. Again, charts and reviews would be very helpful here.

Another thing about the i740 vs. VooDoo 2. After visiting several game related web pages I noticed one thing - lots of articles about VooDoo 2, and next to nothing about i740. One page had a review of which was the best 3-D card to buy. Ah ha! I thought to myself, until I found out that the article was about which one of eight different VooDoo 2 based cards was best (answer, none really much different from each other in terms of performance). From what I have seen of the gaming oriented articles out there TDFX is considered to be the only game in town. Check it out for yourself - there's gamecenter.com, pc gamer online, Game Domain review, Gamespot, game grabber online, many others.
