BB, speaking of Head and Shoulders, my bearish eyes just noticed another crazy chart pattern similarity, although its a bit messy.

If you look closely and carefully at the last recent four months of Nasdaq prices you will see what I think is a H&S with a downwards sloping trendline which has since aborted (the abort being the recent massive 9% rally).

Interestingly, If you take a look at the 1987 few months preceding the crash in the Nasdaq we have the same H&S with a downwards sloping trendline which aborted for the final rally leg which brought it to almost new highs. And of course we know what happened after, the big decline.

The current nasdaq looks like it is almost ready to break new highs. If it does then this similarity will be blown out of the sky. On the other hand if the next few weeks turn into big declines, get out your parachutes..
