And just because some people are weak and get hooked on drugs, don't take away my right to use them (though I don't). As for your objections to having your rights taken away, you must agree that there are limitations to your right to possess weapons. Under a strict interpretation of the 2nd amendment, Congress would have no right at all to regulate firearms, precluding it from making laws restricting them from children,criminals, and maniacs. How do you feel about tactical nuclear weapons? Does the 2nd amendment cover them, too? I hear there are some on the black market.
