As I recall it, what got Bernard locked up is not that he defended himself, but that, after subduing the punks that attacked him, he decided to execute one of them. I don't think any civilized society can allow that kind of conduct. As for liberal judges, get real. Spend a few days at your local courthouse and see how many criminals are being let go. Why do you think the prisons are all filled to capacity?
