Brooke (and Bob),

Thanks for straightening me out on the !DJ30 scan I was trying. I got the scan to run, but nothing appears in the "DJIACHNG.LST" that I wanted to see. Back to the drawing board.

But, I now have a much bigger problem. I've sent the QP folks email on this. I had run a different (furnished) scan and wanted to see the results in charts. I clicked on chart display and the logo comes up followed a few seconds later by a noise from my speakers. Poink, poink like water dripping into a bucket... at very irregular intervals yet.

After about a minute I get the doomsday message from Win95 that tells me: QP_DISP32 has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. Etc., etc.

I rebooted and tried again with the same outcome. I went to the web site and got the upgrade again, also with the same outcome. Since I know absolutely nothing about programming I haven't a clue about what to do now except wait for Gary to bail me out. Dang!

I'm out of biz for the rest of the weekend. Guess I'll mow the lawn.

Ken
