Sorry, Fred -- just started my LCOS put position on Thursday (6/28). I believe that AMZN's recent (post Friday, 6/29 close?) SEC disclosure indicating that they may have overhired will continue to prompt investors to exit the stocks. Moreover, this is window dressing time, and though the internet plays have done well (and per conventional wisdom, should rise on Monday and Tuesday (6/29-30)), I believe that many managers don't want their investors to know that they've had positions in these risky and volatile stocks. Also according to cw, the window dressing effect will cause blue chips tech stocks like MSFT, CSCO and DELL to rise. Institutional investors may take some internet stock profits to put money in these stocks and individuals may follow their lead. Also, the aforementioned 3 are all appealling b/c people might be smelling stock split in all 3 cases (especially CSCO).
