I have and they aren't turned loose - they are merely sentenced with ridiculously lax sentences (3 - 20 years - parole in 18 mos. and back on the street). We aren't out of space here in Texas - in fact we take prisoners from out of state. Did you read where one state (Tenn. - I think) took there prisoners back because we weren't treating them nice enough. Spend some of that money you guys out there spend on government employees and services and you'll have plenty of room for them. Accept some personal responsibility and stop expecting the government to do everything for you. When you think they are doing it for you - they are usually doing it to you - ESPECIALLY in California. You probably think OJ was innocent. Hell in California - the judges don't even have to set them loose - the liberals do <VBG>. But at least he wasn't carrying a gun. However - Nicole may have wished he was - we'll never know.
