BTW, Turboe, what laws would you recommend to curtail high school students from walking into lunchrooms and proceeding to blow classmates away? Especially in states where there is no age restrictions on gun ownership?

In at least one of the school cases the young lad lived in a home where many weapons were present. Adults must be responsible for access of weapons, within their own homes, to children. They should be responsible for training the children in the operation and safe use as well as denying them access when an adult is not present. Loaded weapons should not be present in the home with "easy" access to children.

This is not to say children can not obtain weapons illegally, but those weapons most easily accessible, must be taken care of also.
