Zeev,

<<Stitch, most of the international pressures on Israel over the years was to commit suicide, while the pressure on Japan right now is to avoid suicide.>>

I don't have any reason to doubt that but a buzz deep in the recesses of my gray matter tells me that Israel, at one time, was subject to similar levels of international pressure. I mentioned it only because otherwise what we are seeing in the way of pressure on Japan is unprecedented to me. Even Sadam had his supporters outside Iraq. It is truly quite remarkable. For example, it is the singular thing I can agree with Mahatir one <G>. Japan must act and act soon. Does anyone know anyone who is praising Japan's policy makers?

Best,
Stitch
