Here's a little tidbit for a slow Sunday evening:

On June 2, 1998 Brean Murray, Foster Securities, Inc. analyst Joseph Vafi issued a 2 page Company Report on DAVOX. Report highlights: "A STRONG BUY rating was maintained with a 12-month price target of $40 per share. The 1998 and 1999 EPS estimates were maintained at
$1.07 and $1.65, respectively. Wall Street was spooked by cautionary statements made by management concerning the outlook within the company's core market for telemarketing systems during
the Q1:98 conference call, precipitating a 40% fall in the stock. The company is currently ahead of where it was at this point last quarter, and that part of the weakness in the company' telemarketing
systems business was fueled by a near desperate loss leadership strategy on the part of competitors aimed at maintaining market share. "
