doug, caxton, tim a., jon--thanks for the (qualified)vote of confidence in the dual mode Q phone. it's a bummer that our boys obviously still have manufacturing problems but maybe that's why so many people say : if I still had MSFT I'd be a gazillionaire by now. tons of folks sold when MSFT went through its growing pains--and there were beaucoup growing pains.
I am less excited frankly if Q management was trying to finesse one here: that kind of stuff freaks me out. The manufacturing snafus I figure can be handled: tai chi was right on the integrity thing though, no way to soft soap that one.
okay, so one final request. if I zip over to the mighty Q's web page and click on 'model phones' or whatever you do, which model # is it that is the holy grail? I mean I got dual band/tri mode in all kinds of megahertz and with my luck I'll wind up with a G* phone and the only bud I'll be able to call is E.T. This is a fate I would like to avoid. Surfer Mike
