Warren, I have tried to call the number at the bottom of the news release issued by Fisher on more than one occasion. Unfortunately, I have never received a return call.
I know Dusty seems to think that it is because I have publicly humiliated him on this thread. But believe it or not, I really AM interested in what he has to say. That is more out of my own curiosity that out of any protection of his Constitutional rights, as I feel that he has waived those until he comes back to the USA. (BTW...my offer to pay for his air fare stands)
I know there are people on this thread who feel that I am cheerleading for this stock and for Bard, but that is simply not true. Actually, I was probably one of the biggest advocates for Fisher's right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. What changed that? A few things, such as his flight from the US, and his acceptance of the accusations made against him, lack of a denial, and a desire to "settle" the whole thing. (If he wants to settle it, he needs to come home) But most of all, it was an email I received from a member of AOL, who to the best of my knowledge has never posted here. He was an investor of Novagaz who was screwed out of his money. He showed me where his money has been shifted through 6 different companies, all connected to Mr. Fisher, over a 2 year period of time. He discussed with me a half-day long meeting he had with the Attorney General's Office in South Carolina and their continuing investigation into his activities.
In my opinion, I believe Bender in that I don't think it is MIDL ONLY that he is running from either. I think Midland is only a piece of the puzzle.
What I do not understand is how so many people, whose intelligence I once respected, cannot see that he is using them to be a voice for him on this thread, so that he can continue to do whatever it is he is doing, and still be defended on this thread.
If he is innocent, he can clear it up within a few days. All he has to do is come back to the United States.
