Been through this before. As an ex-tech that has crossed over to the dark side of sales and marketing, I take offense at your statement that the geeks always being right :) If the "geeks were right as usual", then we would all have either NEXT boxes or Apples on our desks. In order for a company to be successful, marketing & technologists must work together. Having the best technology doesn't do a bit of good if nobody can market it. If NOVL had done a better job of marketing then they wouldn't be in the position that they are in today.
