UDI Forms Joint Venture in China

UDI's Marley Cooling Tower division has formed a joint venture in China with Beijing Xingye Industrial Holdings Co. Ltd. (BXI). BXI is partly owned by SINOPEC, China's national petrochemical company. This is Marley's 5th joint venture aimed at selling cooling towers in Asia.
They are planning to sell primarily to the chemical and petrochemical industries in China, although the company may export outside China.

Udi is giving $665,000 cash, and is transfering technology to the company in exchange for 51% of the joint venture.

This is good for the company (assuming the Asian market continues to grow).
