Its no doubt Denmark is rolling, Schmeichel has the ability to carry them through, even past Brasil!. Schmeichel is a keeper that with Manchester Utd--as a team--gave up only 26 goals in 38 games last year--the team was +47 on goal differential. He only gave up 9 goals all season at home in 19 games. Also--is it just me or is Chelsea Utd having a great World Cup?--Flo with Norway (goal that tied Brasil), Brian Laudrup (scored today for Denmark), Petrescu with Belgium, Lesaux with England (you all will recall Petrescu's goal against England in the face of his teammate Le Saux in the 90th min--I have read alot of stuff that says Chelsea fans are not sure how they will react to Petrescu when he returns in Aug to Fulham Rd). I still like England v Argentina Tuesday--even though Argentina has not allowed a goal all tournament. Owen + Newcastle's Shearer are tremendous. Finally, anyone else hear Italian World Cup superstar striker Christian Viere may goto Aston Villa? That would be a change of scenery in Birmingham.
