Satish,
Oracle has provided the ability for quite some time, (at least since Version 6) to either run the code in its own area (PGA)(Two Task)(A safety mechanism), or to bypass it, and read and write directly to the server (Single Task)..
The code can be compiled in either a single task mode (fastest, but must be good code, or fear of corruption is possible, because it will not check the instructions, it will just execute them), or the standard Two Task mode, which is the preferred method, which creates a back end process which does checking of memory addresses, etc, to ensure that no corruption will occur...
I believe this will be the same in 8...
