John-- I think DDX was at 178 when I wrote that DDX and NWX breaking that 200 resistance on DDX, I was right on NWX but DDX after hitting that 2018 level reversed as SOX came down from 330 to 127 level, with semis losing ground DDX lost much more then its fair share anyway I again saw the index at 137 the lowest I have ever seen and went back in for a 20 point move, it has moved up but I also bought some shares of Hutchinson (thanks Judy) around 23 level, I am seeing a lot of put buying activity on RdRT, it is rumored that this is just a hedge for a long position holder, it looks to be a position which expects stock to go higher why should anyone pay 21/2 $ or change for a strike of 71/2$, the cost benefit is a little skewed. I think it is more of a protection against company going out of bussiness and the writer expects much better return although hedging itself against worst. I would like amongst presnt stocks QNTM HUTCH WDC SEG and APM around 3 sih. But I will hedge my long positions by selling DDX 200 calls using the proceeds to buy DDX 125 puts, I will only place this trade above 155 on DDX and buy the puts if DDX closes below 147 i.e first buy some stocks then wait for DDX to move up and sell some covered calls on the index and finally to watch if the index starts drifting down below 147 close buy the puts.
