Preston, The vertical count in this discussion applies only to the DJIA charts, not the NYSEPB chart. You are correct, nobody uses vertical counts on the %Bullish charts. I figure that if the DJIA vertical count target is down in the 9100-9400 area, then a falling NYSEPB condition would make it more likely that we will hit the low target area then, if say, the NYSEPB was rising. Sorry for the confusion.
