" But, I feel that the War is lost. It is the modern Vietnam. Since the War officially started in 1986"

The war on drugs? You're off by about 50 years. Try 1936. That's the first reference I can find to that phrase. Harry J. Anslinger testifying before Congress, and insisting that he needed a law against cannabis in order to fight "the war on drugs".

Just because there have been periodic lulls in the gov't's abuse of our ownership rights over our bodies, does not mean that the war against those rights started recently.

The fact is, it's all about property rights. I have a right to use or abuse my property in any manner I see fit, and my body is my property. The only time the gov't has the right to intervene in people's affairs is when someone is being coerced.

BTW, I'm also a card carrying Libertarian, and have voted a straight Libertarian ticket in every election since 1980.
