Ticker: Clearly the "big boys & girls" of this industry are getting it together and beginning to close VLNC's window. So it's all the more imperative VLNC doesn't slip any further. What I mean by that is tomorrow's c.c. should at least announce confirmation of production capability....any slippage due to internal difficulties will, imho, significantly cut into such lead time as they have with this new battery technology. So need I say it's put up or shut up time?
And it looks like VLNC, for the third time(hey, third time is the charm!!), is making a move. It started the day with a ~33K block, and now is $6 1/8 x $6 3/16. If anyone was looking for a significant event to act as a positive indication of tomorrow's ultimate direction, me thinks that block just MAY be it.
As for the total size of the battery market. Jeeez, that's a hard one to predict. I'll just go out on a limb and say it'll be bigger 5 years from now than it is today. ;-) On a parenthetical aside, VLNC's a little over 2 points away from trading places with ULBI. Now, won't THAT be sumthing, should it occur, eh?
Regards!
